Damiano Zanotto received Bachelor' s and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering in 2005 and 2007, respectively, as well as a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering (curriculum in Mechatronics) in 2011, all from the University of Padua, in Padua, Italy. Between 2011 and 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Mechanical Systems Laboratory (MSL) at the University of Delaware. Since 2013 he has been working with the Robotics and Rehabilitation (ROAR) Laboratory at Columbia University as an Associate Research Scientist. His broad research interests include assistive and rehabilitation robotics, wearable technology, and cable-driven robotic devices. He is currently working on the application of wearable technology to early diagnosis, characterization, and symptomatic treatment of several movement disorders.
